Q: What are the requirements for an Electronic Signature?

A: You can find the requirements on the OSFM website under Specifications for Electronic Signatures.

 

Q: Do I need to submit a "Golden Rod" resubmittal form when submitting slip sheets?

A: Yes, you will need to submit a resubmittal form. We will also need for you to schedule an appointment to drop off the physical copies of the slip sheets.

 

Q: Does someone need to be on site for the inspection?

A: Yes we do require at least one individual to be on site during our inspections. It is recommended that this individual be either a Facilities Services staff member, Project Manager or Contractor responsible for the project, be present during the inspection in order to consult with the Inspector if any problems are identified.

 

Q: How long does the review process take?

A: We ask that you allow both Fire and Building at least 15 business days to review plans. Each project is different and may take longer to review.

 

Q: What is the time frame when scheduling an inspection?

A: We ask that you give our department at least 48 hours when requesting an inspection.
